Hey all, I'm working on a manure tank that is made up of two separate tanks, I need three hoses to connect the two tanks but I'm not sure what I should do. I was looking through some forums and some people said skinning would be the best option. so I bought the modding tutorials to learn more about skinning but the tutorial wasn't in depth enough so I don't know how to apply it to my mod or even if it'll work to connect two components.

Here is a picture so you know what I'm talking about.

Hi,

yes you can use skinning to connect two components via hoses.

Start with something more simple (just to test the export of skinned nodes) then try to make the skinning for your tanks.

Basically, to activate skinned nodes ... you only need an entry for "skinnedNodes".
Check the Stoll Frontloader, Case IH 7130 combine , Grimme Maxtron, ... for an example

Next you'll want to place the 'bones' to be able to adjust the form ...
Please have a look at the named examples to get a first idea ;)

Cheers,
Emil
