Hello, In the modding tutorial videos, the red channel of the specular texture is called "roughness", what this mean? and how can I achieve a "roughness" texture for my mods? |

Hi, "roughness" represents the material properties. Metal for example reflects a lot of light. Rubber in contrast will reflect only small amount of light. Basically the red channel contains different grey values. The higher the value the more light will be reflected. There are also "details on top" (kind of a structure) - this is down with a cavity map. Cheers, Emil |
