| Hi! i am trying to create a pickup truck/dump truck to haul logs rocks objects etc...so i added in the xml the <moving tool> and <moving part> for the dump bed but it doesnt work.. i did the same way for another vehicle and it worked great but on this one when i go in-game nothing moves.i could really use someone's help,please |

| Hi, take a look at the vehicle type (at the top of the vehicle.xml) ... Not all vehicle types support the movingTools. Cheers, Emil |

| it says "<vehicle type="tractor">" i just need to be pointed in the right direction,i'm so close...! ;) thank you for taking the time |

| Hi, hmmmm, that's strange, becaus ethe vehicle type "tractor" already has the "cylindered" specialization and that's enough to make the "movingParts" work. So, maybe the problem is somewhere else. If I understand our request correctly than you want to be able to move/rotate something by using the mouse, right? In this case please have a look at the "piQup.xml" (in: data\vehicles\steerable\cars). This xml file contains a rather easy example for using "movingTools" to control an object. Cheers, Emil |
