Hey all clever Modders Im making a new map for FS17. Im testing a my map, and found that when I drive close to an object I've importet the camera zooms in. I tested it in the game, with the lizard pickup truck, and I zooms in close the the vehicle on certain spots around the round slurry tank, that I put in my map. I tested it with a tractor, that also zoom in close to the tractor, but at the same areas around the tanks, as the Pickup truck. im using the samplemapmod, I can see no object in th Giants Editor, so can anybody explain what is going on? I have another bunker close by, and there is no problem with the camera around that bunker. Tested it intensively. Plz help for ideas to get this little bug to go away. Regards Frank |

Enable debug display in your "game.xml": set <development><controls>false -> true. Then test ingame with F4 and F5 which toggles between different debug displays. There you should identify the troublemaker. Most probably a collision mask is faulty. See for reference in your FS install directory "sdk/collisionMasks.txt". |

Yep that fixed it. Was the manure texture/plane that I used from the original map, when inlarged to the fit the manurepit, there was an large invissible part, wich had collision on, so the camera was hitting it. now fix, just toggled collision to off. thx 1000 for the help. |
