I am currently trying to get some railroad crossings working and I have no idea how to rename anything in the Editor. I am fairly new at this and am trying to change around someone else's map. Do I have to have the coding for crossings in order from 1 and so on or can it be out of order, for example: 1, 2, 6, 8 would be the numbers of the crossings.

After doing this, the map would not load. It just stayed on the loading screen. I deleted the codes for the crossings in each of the train system's XML files, is that what file I am supposed to delete it from?

Hi,

jap.
The content of the xml file must match the content of the map.i3d

Actually it doesn't what number/index the crossings have, but they must represent the actual layout/hierarchy in the map.

Cheers,
Emil

Okay, so it doesn't matter if the crossing's number is 01 or 99, it just needs the coding and enough of it in the correct order from 1-whatever? I also have another question, yesterday (Wednesday 3/15/17) I tried to modify a train system's spline. When I went to move one of the points, all I selected was the track below it, I even tried moving the entire spline up and that did not work either. How in the world do I modify an already existing spline? I even made a new one and I could move the control points on that one.

To select the points on a spline you must have the Visibility check box ticked, if it's checked then the spline white line will show on the map in game, so you need to uncheck it after doing your editing.

Where is this found? Is it on the spline itself?

Ted Fanning (wickedset) 16.03.2017 21:17
It's in the spline Attributes window, between scale Z & clip Distance,

Okay, I thought it would be.
