I am making a new map and I have created a NEW nav mesh for the cows its in the editor, but when I enter the game and buy the cows they do not span anywhere on the map at all. Any help please.

Hi,

did you delete the old navigation mesh?
Is the new navigation mesh in the correct position (concerning hierachy in the scenegraph)?

I deleted the old mesh yes, for the hierarchic part I was unaware of this and also where should it be concerning it?

Hi,

just take a closer look at the original map, e.g. Goldcrest Valley (map01.i3d)

In the Transformgroup "goldcrestValley" you will find the node (transformgroup) "animals".
Within that you'll find the sheep, chicken, cow and pigs husbandries.

If you open one of these you will notice that the very first element is the navMesh.

So, your nav mesh needs to go exactly into this hierarchy position.
Well, actually you can place it as any child beneath the "animaltypeHusbandry" node, but if the navMesh is not the first element you have to adjust the user attribute "navMeshIndex" of the "animaltypeHusbandry" node.

I know this was about the nav mesh, but I just have a quick question on how to change the name that displays in game for a sell point.
