My trailer was rejected from Modhub. The reason: “The particleSystem is darker than the grain in the trailer”.
This is what I did…
1. I imported the ‘grainNorm’ unloading effect from the in-game Trans Space 8000.
2. I created my own emittershape.
After getting rejected, I’ve tried different settings for the diffuse color in GE (for the ‘grainNorm’ object). Did not notice any visible changes.
My fillVolume shape creates some white and darker lines in-game:
Here’s the fillvolume shape:
Is it too complex? If so, is this the reason why the unloading effect creates darker grain?
I’m thankful for any help. I really hope to have this trailer Modhub ready :)

|I'm pretty sure I've discovered what I did wrong... When importing the tipping effects, I scaled them to better match the trailer. When re-importing the objects, now without scaling them, the tipping effect seemed brighter...

nice to hear that you've sorted it out.
A good practise is to always use "free transformations".
In this case you would only need to freeze the "scale" attributes.

|Thanks, Emil :)
I'm pretty sure I used the 'freeze transformation" function... But you'll never know. So many things to think of when putting a model together ;)
