Hi guys, I have created a flatbed transport trailer using Maya.

What I want to know is now I have it in GE how do i go about making the correct transform groups and wheels etc, then how do i go about doing the textures and all the xml files etc?

also looking into the xml how do i make sure the size is correct etc, this is the first time ive made a proper vehicle mod

Hi,

that are plenty of questions you have.

About the texture ... the model (mesh) needs a proper set of UVs.
Just check out the internet, there are many tutorials about that topic.
When you have done some nice UVs you can go ahead.

For the correct hierarchy of a vehicle please just have a look at the default vehicles.
There are two flatbeds in our game, so you will find some information and help there.

Considering the siz eof a vehicle ... propably you can set the unit ssystem in your 3D modeling program.
In doubt you can export your trailer and create cube in the Editor.
The cube will have a size of 1m x 1m x 1m as long as you don't scale it.
So you can compare and see how big your trailer appears in the game.
