| Are there any good resource sites for new people wanting to join the modding community besides the GDN? I have been struggling on my own with very little resources on how to do things within the editor. One of the biggest challenges is building custom animal areas. I got the nav meshes put down, feeding/water objects are on the map (imported from GCV map), but when I go to the feeding area to place grass in (sheep farm) I receive no unload message, same with water, also the animal dialog does not show up either. Most of the videos online show how to build the mesh, but leave the rest out and I am sure there are extra steps involved. |

| Checkout YouTube! There are some great tutorial out there for nearly every aspect of the game. Also, fs-uk.com and americaneaglesmodding.com have some great step-by-step tutorials as well. Last but not least, there's always Google, also. |

| Been on Youtube and google lol. I followed one tutorial video step by step on the sheep farm and like I said the tipping points do not work, nor does the animal dialog. I literally "exported with files" the resources from the GCV map and moved them like the video did. The modding book has some information, but it is vague and also for FS15. I will check out fs-uk and americaneaglesmodding. |
