HI, I am currently working on an oxbo 334 merger. It is a windrower but has belts so needs uv scroller. Only way i know for these to work if it is via cutter with cutter attacherjoint instead of implement. I was wondering if there was anyway to get around without trying to make a specific lua file for this. I read the cutter lua and was wondering if I could make new, just remove cutter preface, and use as extrasource?

thanks, Joe

Hi,

you're right our windrower script has no uvScrollers by default.

But it has nothing to do with the type of attacherJoint - that could be anything ;)

In the end you might want to write a custom script in any case because you probably want to be able to switch the sides where the swath should be placed?

If you wanat to use parts of an existing script file - that's no problem.
I would only recommend you to extract/copy only those parts which are really neccessary in order to reduce eventual interferences and other problems ... it might also help to understand better how things work.

Cheers,
Emil

Hi Emil,

Yes this is what I figured and extracted a few lines from cutter lua. My background is chemistry and dentistry, not computer science, so there is a learning curve here. Will attempt to have belts engage first before trying something more fancy, such as belt change of direction.
