Everytime i start to paint something in the editor the program freezes and needs to close. I unzipped all my files into a unzipped folder on my desktop. I'm using editor v4.1.9. What would my problem be? |

Hello. I have also the same problem. When I open a map in the editor I can use all the functions except terrain editing. I can move objects, import objects, save the map, etc. But as soon as I try to sculpt the terrain or paint the terrain or foliage the editor crashses. I have uninstalled and re-installed the editor and even the whole game, but still the same. I did notice that after I re-installed the editor, my personal settings like nav speed and opend windows are not reset. I hope someone is willing to help me out. Thanks in advance. Roy. |

make sure, all files in the map HAVE NOT attributes "read only" to reset the editor you must delete files in your Documents And Setting Dirrectory: c:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\GIANTS Editor 4.1.7\ |

I deleted the files you mentioned and the files C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch\EDITOR.EXE-11A8A624.pf; C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch\GIANTS_EDITOR_4.1.9_WIN32[1].-3AF45CF4.pf; C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch\GIANTS_EDITOR_4.1.9_WIN32[1].-2961C65F.pf (this was advised on another forum), re-installed GE and that did the trick. |

Hi My editor keeps crashing, and says these lines in the scripting box when I try and load a map: Error: Can't load resource: C:Users/tristan/FarmingSimulator2013/mods/mymapfolder/map/models/natural/trees/treesLODs_normal.png If anyone could tell me what to do now, it would be much appriciated. There are some tricks, which people use to 'protect' their map against editing. On the other hand are methods to reduce the size of maps by using stuff linked with game data. Such maps will work fine in game, but are not editable directly. You'll have to examine the xml code of i3d, espec. the file list. |
