Hello I probably have a problem with my modmap. I had started to create a map a few months ago. It worked quite well until I had problems with the FS22, because it could not be updated. So I reinstalled the FS22 and now I have the current version 3.0.0. A short time later I wanted to open the modmap again, but as soon as I did so, the GE 9.0.0 always closed itself. It would be very helpful if someone could tell me if it is the modmap view or if there are other possible problems why the GE keeps closing by itself.
Thanks in advance!

Your next step is to update GE to version 9.0.2 so both the game and GE are their most current versions. Start there and see what you get.

@Louis: In your case it could very well be the mod/map you're trying to open. Have you tested it against a known working mod/map such as a base game map? Checking your logs is worthwhile as well. If it's a map, try opening it through the game. It will likely hang or crash, but the game log "sometimes" reveals info that GE does not, such as why it crashed and at which point in the loading it crashed.

Check the editor log.txt it should have details of what caused the crash, sometimes its just a file path problem with a gdm/grle

Definitely what Colin said. I could've been a bit clearer on what I meant about checking the game log. I've had GE crash before anything or anything usable was logged. It's in this case I will try the game log and "sometimes" I am able to get the info I need that way. It's not that the game log reveals info that the GE log does not, it's the same info that GE was unable to log. It's a longshot but sometimes works out.
