| Do the editor 5.0.1 not woke in win 8 ??? I have tried to make map several times, but when I come into play and people to the map, then stop the game and shuts down and it's only when I make map on my win 8 pc????? it works fine on win 7, snakes who knows if it's editor is not running as it should on win 8??? |

| Make sure you are running the editor as an Administrator. To do so, right click the icon, and choose 'Run as administrator' from the context menu; you must also USE an Administrator account - these are NOT the same. These 2 things will ensure that the editor has the correct permissions to read and write to the correct folders. If that doesn't resolve it, try right clicking the icon, and go to the compatibility tab. On there check the box for 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' and choose 'Windows 7 SP1', or 'Windows XP'. I don't have Windows 8, so, sorry I couldn't be much more help. | Are you unzipping it? If you are then it will work but if you are not it won't work P.s I do not have windows 8 so it might not be right |

| The final map, needs to remain zipped. If what I suggested does not work, please check the log of FS'13, and look for errors. Then post, just those, errors here; this will help determine what is causing the map to not load correctly. |

| hi i would just like to say that im using editor 5.0.1 with windows 8 with no problems just don`t use editor 5.0.3 this makes your map useless i tried it and ended up deleting my map and starting again. |
