giants editor 6.0.2 not loading?

hi all,
ive been using ginats editor for about 2-3 years to create things for farming simulator. but ive downloaded the new 6.0.2 for farming simulator 2015. but everytime i go to load it up it just starts grey. created lights zoomed in and out, new camera's everything but still nothing. anyone no why this is and how i can fix it? thanks

I'm having the exact same issue, i have checked the error which looks clean to me. Complete log.txt file posted below.

Hallo,

I have the same problem. I start Giants Editor 6.0.2, load map or other models and than I see only a grey screen.

Is there anyone who can help us pls?

@Michael Thomas when i look in your logfile, it seems you do not have a good graphics card. you graphical level is at low and that means that your graphics card does not support it all. maybe for a look, otherwise I hear from you

Dear Tom Endeman,

thank you very much for this idea!

Now I was starting Giants Editor with my graphics card Nvidea GeForce GT 635 and than I throw up the level from low to medium and now it´s works! No grey screen!

When I start the Giants Editor its takes my on board graphics card, and this chrapics card ist too bad to start Giants Editor!

@tom, i set it to low to see if i could get it to do anything, i tried all the settings.

@joel its not low, but maybe the intel graphics 2000 dont support GL_NV_texture_compression_vtc not supported

From what i can tell people with intel graphics cannot use giants editor including myself. i have been trying to solve this problem for a while now and i'm not getting anywhere from what Tom has said and he is most likely right is that intel graphics don't support it. Hopefully Giants or someone will fix it soon because its getting quite annoying not being able to make or do anything with it. :)

yes I agree with u...I have intel graphics also....and it runs the game on max settings great...but cant use GE 6.0.2 to edit maps......needs to be a fix for this I would think.???

I too have been using Giants Editor 5.5 quite happily for the past 18 months or so, can run both FS2013 and FS15 on max settings - but get the grey screen. I too have Intel graphics hardware.

Please can we have a fix for this very soon. I have REALLY had great pleasure Map Modding and would be massively frustrated if this were to be the end!

Also use onboard card (Intel HD Grafics), and always ran the franchise fs at most graphic, and now I can do the mod, when I open the giants editor (6.0.2) Also have gray screen.

It look like sometime the GE camera is looking at the other side of the universe :)
To solve this just select any object and press F, it will bring the camera to it.

I also have an Intel graphics card and the editor will not load.. I really was excited to start modding but now I can't.

And the driver works is essential, because deactivated in attempt the correct functioning of giants editor 6.0.2 and did not work, I am very sad because now I know create mods I cannot continue! And we already know that it is a mismatch of giants editor with the intel graphics. =(

It is a mismatch in the new graphics engine with the driver for video card on-board or external cards old ...

Good new staff! In a way I was studying a way to take the incompatibility of the new graphics engine the fs15 with video cards or old cards onbord! AND in a certain way and could possibly be that this problem is correct with a DLL. I will continue studying and seeing if I think a conclusion!

(I apologize if some things don't make sense, because I am of Portuguese language and use the translator, to have a better communication!)

Hello,
please note that Intel graphic cards are not designed to play 3D games and are also below the specified minimum system requirements for the game. You can try to update your graphic card drivers to the newest version and set the graphic options inside the game to the minimum values. But because of what I said before you will most likely continue to have problems. If you use a desktop PC you could replace the card with one of the brands we recommend (NVidia or ATI).

AND really it is an incompatibility not only the software but also hardware, because the source code of "Giants Editor" does not have any term which set a minimum prerequisite(for example) or requiring special needs part of virtual computer or physicist. Even my computer being a thespian (2gb ram intel celeron 2.4 dual core) was always covers turning the Fs (11,13,15) and graphics average upwards.
With the use of DLL was unable to reach some bugs graphics level display lines(in the middle of the gray screen)white where would be the grid scale and contour of lights!

My GE loads a map but when I click somewhere the Giants Engine 6.0.3 works no longer I don't understand it
