Texture problems on map conversion

Hi guys.

I've converted my Map from 2013 to 2015. Obviously I have to change the file paths, which I did, but GE and the game still says "Error can't load resource" after I've changed the file path to the correct location. Not all textures are in .DDS format yet. Is it possible that 2015 can't read any other format other than DDS? Or what if it's not an 8 Bit format like the textures need?

I'm stumped as to what the issue is, I've fiddled around with the paths for 2 days now and nothing seems to work.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

.png files still work, but you'll get a warning.

The best way to convert a map is probably to export the default map into a mod directory (maybe also use the modMapSDK).
Afterwards copy file by file from your old map into the new one and check more or less after each copy if the map loads.

Finally export all buildings from your old map (use the option: 'Export Selection with files' in GIANTS Editor) and import them into the new map.
