i was using 6 and everything was work ok. when i attempted to open an i3d file and couldn't see the mod. if i select the mod it only shows me the wireframe even though i have shades selected. is there a error log somewhere or anything else i can try?

The new giants editor is made for the new game, fs17. So you need to upgrade shaders to right version and set the paramenters right on the model :)
