| Cheers, I'd like to convert our map. Tried with GE 7.0.2 Open mod option, but it doesn't support maps, and redirects to Map Converting Tutorial page, which is under construction. Is there a planned release date for any converter or tutorial? Thanks, n0tr3adY edit : solved, delete this thread pls. |

| With GRLEconverter , convert back grle files to png, then replace the fruits_density and cultivator_density gdm with png files. Open up GE, itt will update both png to gdm. |

| Hello, I tried your method but it does not work. I converted cultivator density and fruit density grle to png. I put these two png files in the map file. I open giant editor but it changes nothing. can you help me please? |

| Did you remember to remove the .grle / .gdm files to match? Editor will remake if not there from the png but if there no change. |

| this works on 4x and standed maps i no how to grle files to gdm (on maps)( this is how you do the converting ) hotswop files (list of gdm file i no of on maps) cultivator_density . forestGrassDark_density . fruit_density . infoLayer . terrainDetailHeight_density . tipColInfoLayer . townDecoGrass_density .. ................................................. make a blank png (not dds) the same size (say cultivator_density)and name it cultivator_density right load map in to ge then add the png to map file you loaded the map from in to ge ( cultivator_density the one we are looking for is in the map01 file) add png then delete the grle cultivator_density as you hve replace the file with the png blank. now go into ge and save map ge will convert the png blank into a gdm file and then delete the png as not needed no more (this works on all grle files on maps) you just made a gdm file |
