New 4X map for FS19 Error

Hello I was wondering if anyone else has come across this error while making a 4x map for fs19

Error: TerrainDeformation requires a terrain lod size that is a multiple of the terrain height map size

Any Ideas?

it might be that you need to change the size in your map.xml, it needs to be this

<map width="4096" height="4096" imageFilename="maps/pda_map_H.png">

Thanks for the input William but that did not fix this error Error: TerrainDeformation requires a terrain lod size that is a multiple of the terrain height map size but it did fix the issue I had with the PDA map not showing the player POS or Vehicle POS.

Are all the files in the correct sizes? Think i had that error when i missed one of my files, not a 100% sure tho.

check the size of your map_dem .png is 2049X2049 and the density .gdm are 4096X4096 not shure on the wieghts the 4Xstarter map has them at 4096X4096 before the wieghts in a 4X where 2048X2048 I dont think this matters as long as the wieght are the same size the info.grle where 2048X2048 the starter map has them at 1024X1024 not shure about .grle if this size needs to be .

does the error show in the editor or the game log.

Error is in game log I will double check the other files and get back to you. All the weight files are at 512

The map_dem is 2049 and the terrainDetailHeight_density is 4096

For x4 map resize:
animalMud01_weight.png;
animalMud02_weight.png;
animalMud03_weight.png;
animalMud04_weight.png
and all others texture layer files (...._weight.png) to resolution 4096x4096. I record action in Photoshop for this.

And:
terrainDetailHeight_density.gdm;
cultivator_density.gdm;
fruit_density.gdm;
weed_density.gdm
files need resolution 8192x8192; use grle Converter

mapDE_farmland.grle;
tipColInfoLayer.grle
need resolution 2048x2048, use grle Converter

mapDE_dem.png - 2049x2049
pda_map_H.dds - 4096x4096 and write this size in text file mapDE.xml (in 2. row)

I make x16 map and resize all files x4 and all work fine. To x4 map you need all files double size from default map size.

Am synonymous to convert my 16 fold.
The GE has in my attempts to scale the weight files to 4 times scaled back to 2048x2048 back. So I left her in this size. Ingame the textures appear quite normal, as well as on the standard map.
However, in my log I also have the error: "Error: TerrainDeformation requires a terrain Iodine that is a multiple of the terrain height map size", which I tried so far unsuccessfully to delete.

I also had a error after scale only gdm and grle files. But after i resize !!! all !!! texture layer ...._weight.png files, error is gone.

Good day! The game throws Error: Blocked area map is wrong size for terrain (1024 x 1024) vs (2048 x 2048). When registering triggers, the map size of 2048x2048.

Hello again, I resized all my files and still get Error: TerrainDeformation requires a terrain lod size that is a multiple of the terrain height map size. The terrain will also not change for a placeable. I am wondering if this is due to the GE8 still having some bugs.

Hello again
I fixed my first error but now I have a warning pop up in game log.
Warning: DensityMapVisualizationOverlay is being reset, because a DensityMap it refers to was deleted.

Any Ideas?

I have a similar problem the worst is when you harvest grain and grass. When Harwest grain, there is a huge pile of straw behind a harvester, or the same when mowing grass for drying. Is there any support for GE 8 and higher for large maps?
How to fix
:Warning: DensityMapVisualizationOverlay is being reset, because a DensityMap it refers to was deleted. (from game console)
And in GE 8 have this DensityMap: failed to load image from GE 8

Check all your density maps for errors again. The problem with cutting grass or grain points to the ColMap. Look in the GE if at this point ground collision is drawn.

I checked everything and found one tipColInfoLayer. Grle in resolution 1024 x 1024 converted to PNG via converter enlarged to 4096 x4096 but GE does not want to convert me to Grle.

GE 8 wont convert to gdm. I've only had luck with V 8.1

Found out how to fix this error, what it is is the placeable items, in your placeables XML clear out your items in placeable XML and errors go away... they were placed on a standard sized map, and when you change map size it throws off the coordinates.

I have a problem with the cut grass from which I want to make the dried grass. In one direction the dried grass goes but if it goes in another direction it does not work and the straw lines are pointed and chunky.
the map is 4x4

Getting exactly the same as above regarding tedding grass to make hay - really weird problem been stuck on it for days now tried everything. Log is completely clean, no errors or warnings.

I solved the problem with the grass. The problem was caused by the badly translated tipColInfoLayer.gr (resolution). As far as the frame graps it solved another background in three layers above it, the game stopped mowing in certain places and overall it helped the game.
