Sorry, but no clairvoyants here. *g* Without further infos about your system nobody can say what's wrong. What you could try at first step: 1. Delete in folder "{USER}\AppData\Local\GIANTS Editor 64bit ..\" the file "editor.xml" and all files in folder "shader_cache". 2. Create a shortcut for the editor and setup in shortcut properties "run: maximized". Start the GE via shortcut. 3. Try running the GE in admin mode. 4. NEVER use cloud storage (eg. OneDrive) for FS related files. |

Enter in explorer address line: "%LOCALAPPDATA%" and navigate to folder "GIANTS Editor 64bit ..". If the file "editor_log.txt" doesn't exist, the GE doesn't even has startup and probably your system is not suitable to run it at all. |

1: Uninstall the specific GIANTS Editor. 2: Go to the folder "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\" here you find the folders of the specific installed GIANTS Editor, and now you must delete it completely. 3: Go to your Programs folder and delete the folder of the specific GIANTS Editor. 4: Install the GIANTS Editor again. |

Did you follow the procedures described in my post above? (01.06.2020 12:01) If that doesn't help, there's something wrong with your system setup. Disable in system settings the complete Xbox crap. Disable any anti-virus software (temporarily). Disable programs which access the gfx-card directly (frame-recorder, gfx utilities like Nvidia Experience, Steam-Overlay, etc). Keep your system clean and do not run unnecessary programs in the background. |

Hello, if the previous versions work normally and after installing the update of the new editor this does not work, then there will probably be no error in the Win. system. Hello , I have the same problem trying to open GE V8 ....... But i noticed this in the logfile: Render System Driver: OpenGL Card Vendor: ATI Technologies Inc. Renderer: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4300 Series Version: 3.3.11672 Core Profile Context Shader Version: 3.30 Error: GLSL version 4.50 or better is required. Your version is 3.30 So i think this is all about updating your drivers ( WIN10 ? ), if it is not possible insert a newer videocard or stay with version 7 ... |

The ATI-Radeon-HD-4000-Serie does support OpenGL only upto vs. 3.3. The mobility (notebook) versions are mostly not exchangeable (fixed soldered). |
