| Can someone please point me to some info on creating custom diffuse/specular/normal texture maps. I have been searching and am not finding anything. I tried using the maps from some of the placeable buildings in the game, but they just aren't going to work. I am trying to create sheet metal for a shed. EDIT Additional question, could I just modify an existing placeable map, like for example the large Horman garage? It has the type of sheet metal roof and siding I want. If I apply it to my roof as it is I get all the textures in blocks on the roof though. What if I just grab the sheet metal textures out of the file and put it in a new dds by itself? EDIT Also I started this thread in the wrong forum subsection. If someone would move it to EDITOR or wherever you feel is more appropriate that would be great. Thanks |
