How do I convert a 2015 mod to 2013? I have a cool race car mod but it won't work in 2013 cuz its for 15. I could not find a good tut on it. all the ones i saw either popped up ads (one of which made me jump cuz of the alarm sound it made) or is was a vid on a site from the other side of the world (I'm in USA) |

Hi, personally I can't recommend you to convert FS15 vehicle to FS13. Well, it depends on how it was build and how the textures are set up. But if it is correctly set up for FS15 it won't look good in FS13 without doing some proper adjustments. Why don't you buy a copy of FS15, it has a lot of really cool new features and looks better than FS13. Cheers, Emil |

Hi, you can find the log.txt of the editor in the following directory: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\GIANTS Editor 64bit 6.0.5 If you post it here we could try to find the error(s). Also make sure that you do not try to save the map in a directory which you have no write access to. C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2015\mods is the best place for mods ;) Cheers, Emil |

Hey, I will check the log.txt file. I don't think my desktop is restricted, but thanks anyway. Logan, Crazy modder |

Hi, your graphics card seems to be a 'onboard card': Render System Driver: OpenGL Card Vendor: Intel Renderer: Intel(R) HD Graphics The GE requires a graphics card which has 'good support' of OpenGL. But the 'onboard cards' mostly don't offer that. So, I wonder if the GE opens at all ... You can give it a last try and do what our video tutorial says about creating and editing a new mod map. If that fails, it is very likely a problem with your graphics card. Cheers, Emil |

Guess I just have to mod 13 only, cuz my GE crashed. So I either need to get a new computer (which I just did) or do just FS2013 mods. Thanks, Logan, Crazy Modder (I hope) |

Hi, did you create a new mod map, exactly as stated in the video tutorials? Cheers, Emil |

Hello, Yes Emil, I did just what it said. When I did the Export All With Files step it crashed. Logan, Crazy Modder (I hope) |

Hi, thanks for following the video tutorial. Well, for me it just works fine when I export the default map to my "mods" folder. But it takes sometime (~30 sec. on a SSD, which means that it will take much longer on a normal hard drive) ... so be patient .. eventually you aborted the export? Please try it again don't even move the mouse during that process (just to make you don't interupt it somehow) Cheers, Emil |

Emil, I redid the step without moving the mouse and it still crashed. Logan, Farming Simulator 2013 modder |

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I will inform our team about the problem, hopefully they can find the cause. Maybe they will need some information of yours ... we will see. Cheers, Emil |
