Hi GDN Team,

I've got the problem that terrain changes on a map are not taken over into the game. I'm using the version 4.1.2 and there is no error notification while or after the saving progress ("ready" notification in the status bar). Windows XP is used as operating system and there are also administrator privileges for the editor and for the game (version 1.1).

Editor log:

I already tried to de- and reinstall the editor and the game, which did not solve the problem. There are no problems with deleting objects, which do not appear in the game any more after I removed them in the editor.

Looking forward to an answer,

Peter Hansen

Try to run unsaved, new game.

Hi Manpeter,

First, thanks for your answer. But starting a whole new game does not make any difference. I also deleted all savegame files located My Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2009. The same problem appears also on a friend's pc.

How do you make sure the map you saved is loaded in the game?
Do you copy the map01.i3d to the game directory? Since obviously the file folder Desktop\LS2009Mods\maps, where you save your map to, is not part of the game installation.

You must copy all files in the map\map01 folder as well.

Hi Stefan Geiger,

I make a copy of the original folder in Landwirtschafts-Simulator 2009\data and replace the whole folder with the one from the LS2009Mods\ directory.
Unfortunately, the problem still exists.

Hi Peter,

Can you open the map i3d with notepad++ and check the terrain data file paths. I think the paths of the terrain data files still point to the old location.
