Perhaps the real- price mod out of 09 could be helpful.

First of all i want to say that i don't even have the pleasure of cattle breeding just because i hate to aquire loads of money in a single day. The realism disappears when i buy a cow at 25000 euro and gives me milk like a river, manure and slurry like crazy.
I know the cows are pricy, doesn't matter, make them 100000 euro each at the current output of milk, manure and slurry.
If i will buy cows i will get bored of the game in two days.
I want to earn my money not get them from the milk fairy or the wizard of manure.
Make the cow price 1000 - 1500 euro, with a output of milk of 20 litres per day, manure and slurry 10 litres each and the price of milk should be max 50 cents per litre.
That will make for a better gameplay and more realism.
I harvested silage from the biggest land near the port (11.65 HA) and got aproximate 8.400.000 silage.
At this ammount i could buy 5 cows and wait 2 days for the money too poor in to the account, buy and test all the vehicules and implements....and the next thing to do is to go at the store and search for another game to keep me entertained.
I don't like to play for a guinnes world records book...i like realism...

With patch 2.0, you can use the console command gsSetMilkDifficulty to set the difficulty.

This setting is stored in the careersSavegame of the current savegame. So you only have to change the settings once per savegame.

Unfortunately what wrote Stefan Geiger for some reason is not correct. Although every time you load a game the milk settings are being loaded, there are not taken in consideration by the game, returning to defaults. that is why by changing directly the game.xml has no effect to the game. You have every time you restart the game to change the setting by using the console.

Thanks for the info, this was a bug. This will be fixed in the next patch.

How do you code the price on the Milk and cows?
I see priceMultipliers and I see grain prices at 0.5 1.0 1.2 1.1 1.2
can you help me understand?
