I'm trying to figure out if i can change the collision box size of a root node in GE without moving or resizing it's children. Is it possible. please help if you can.

Hi, should be. + create a (temporary) transformgroup + cut and paste all the children of the collision box into this new element + resize the collision box + cut and paste all children back into it Does that make sense to you? Cheers, Emil

Sorry for my late reply I tried what you said but after cutting and pasting the children into a temp transform group the collision box of the now empty root node has it's x y and z scale boxes greyed out. I would have been happy just to move it up a bit, but when i did the children moved up as well after repasting them back in, so i'm stumped. Is there another way maybe.

Hi, ah, I did not realize that you are doing something for FS15 - sorry. So, I'm not sur eif the older version supports the "freeze transformation" option. If not, you need to export the object to a 3D modeling program and adjust everything there. Otherwise you can disable the "rigid body" attributes temporarly. But make sure to set them again exactly as they have been before (mainly: collision mask) Cheers, Emil
