Hello, im making realistic map of my country and i have problem with windrow of cutting grass - https://abload.de/img/fsscreen_2016_10_30_1qexjk.png whats wrong with it? Im making map from clear terrain from Goldcrest Valley. I didn`t change anything with windrow or crops.

Its much different than the grass windrow on Goldcrest Valley..

Next thing is we need to know how we can change this colMap, lets hope someone from Giants can explain this. This is something what is not explained in the new fs17 videos i bought.

Maybe its a "Bug" from Giants Editor....

Saving the Map with edited tipCol Info Layer does not update the Col Map.grle

As Manuel said, saving the map the tipColInfoLayer.grle is saved, but the *.i3d.colMap.grle does not update.
I found a simple way to update it manually as this is the important file to play the map correctly.

At my occassion i want to tip anywhere so i need a full black .grle file.
For fast edit i delete the tipColInfoLayer.grle file to save time editing the map info layer from the GE.

Step 1
To create the new tipColInfoLayer.grle:

Create a tipColInfoLayer.png full black. Means black, greyscale, 8-bit, size 1024x1024.
Load the map, save it. The new tipColInfoLayer.grle is created.
For default map sizes this is a 1024x1024 file.

Step 2
To create the new *.i3d.colMap.grle:

This file for the default size maps is a 4096x4096 file, so

Rename the above new tipColInfoLayer.grle to something else to save it, as tipColInfoLayer_Orig.grle
Resize the tipColInfoLayer.png you created at Step 1 to 4096x4096 and let the GE make the dirty job.
Open the map in GE, save it.
A new tipColInfoLayer.grle created. This is 4096x4096.
This is your new *.i3d.colMap.grle.
Rename it to *.i3d.colMap.grle, move it to the previous folder YOURMAP.i3d is and
finally rename the tipColInfoLayer_Orig.grle to tipColInfoLayer.grle.
Delete any .png you created(tipColInfoLayer.png).
Done.

For those who has areas they don't want to tip do the next steps:

Step 1:
After you save the map with the new tip coll info layer, use the grle converter to take your new tipColInfoLayer.png.
Rename the tipColInfoLayer.grle to something else to save it, as tipColInfoLayer_Orig.grle
Resize the tipColInfoLayer.png to 4096x4096 and let the GE make the dirty job.
Open the map in GE, save it.
A new tipColInfoLayer.grle created. This is 4096x4096.
This is your new *.i3d.colMap.grle.
Rename it to *.i3d.colMap.grle, move it to the previous folder YOURMAP.i3d is and
finally rename the tipColInfoLayer_Orig.grle to tipColInfoLayer.grle.
Delete the tipColInfoLayer.png.
Done.

Also having this very bad issue, going try your solution after work Jimi540.
If that not working Giants come with a solutio I hope, this is very bad for the people's FS17 game experience.

@jimi540 with this you only kidding the Giants Engine, hi thinks the collision is the but it's not.
On this way, it's impossible to make a new collision because the editor is not saving it.
At least, it's not loading in the game.

Update for The GIants Editor is on the Way..... will be avaible in a few Days....

I just copied the tipinfolayer.grle into the map01.i3d.colMap.grle an it works for me
