I try to do it like in 15, but roads don't show very good, and the colors don't look anything like the ones I've seen. Dose anyone know how the PDA maps are made to look so clean and show everything down to train tracks? |

You have to adjust all the clip distances for each individual object, but do it to the actual object itself not just the transform group. Way i tend to do it, is create a camera, call in PDA_Map_Cam or whatever you want, set the Y translate to 2000 and the x rotation to -90 Try that |

Tip: Use a copy of your map.i3d and load it into text editor. There you use the search&replace function to enlarge all necessary clip distances. |

With notepad++, you can easily solve this. Look for search & replace, and this is code snippet for search = clipDistance="([0-9]+)" |

Better results are by making a composite, but is very labor intensive. You take shots at elevation like 550 - 650 with camera in ortho and then combine them in photoShop or PaintDotNet |
