Hey guys, I have a mod that was converted from FS15 to FS17. The mod itself is fine and fully functions in the game. I wanted to put tension belts where the grapple claw is at so when the claw goes to grabs the log, you can enable the tension belt to secure it better. I been searching all over online and I keep getting the same error in the log. It has to be something in the code somewhere I am overlooking. Here is the log error. Sorry in advance If I didn't provide more details. Thank you! This might help Don't know https://youtu.be/dwUVq38KMSg or this https://youtu.be/-4is3Md1Xlk You might have to set the jointNode="1>" rootNode="1>" to whatever component you have them on |

I was able to successfully put a tension belt on the rotating arm of the mod. When I grab onto a log, the tensions do work, but once I start moving, the log leaves the claw and falls to the ground, but stays secured and the machine moves as normal. That is the closest I got the tension belts to work and also lost the camera when I use my mouse. Is their anyway I can send you my zipped file of the mod and see my status so far. I been working on this for a week and I can't get it to work. I believe the code part is right but maybe my belts are positioned incorrectly in the I3D file. I watched your videos over and over again. Maybe putting belts on a grapple hook is harder than a truck bed. i'm not sure. I greatly appreciate the feedback. |

I been trying to reference the mod you made with the belts. I'm trying to match the positions as closely as I can. I could send the mod if needed. |
