I created a map using a starter map that didn't have sugar cane. The map worked fine. Only a few small bugs that I was able to fix easily. I decided to add sugar cane using a new starter map that I made myself from the Gold crest valley map. I got everything transferred over and I redrew all the fields. However, now when I play the map the fields vanish when I fertilize them. It looks like the fertilizer spreader is erasing the field. Any ideas what I may have done wrong?

You are aware, that you MUST start a new career if you edited the map massively?
Else I could imagine, that you have deleted accidently some field dimensions.

Yeah, I did start a new game. So, should I go back and delete the fields and redraw them?

You said, you have taken the GC Valley as template. So you can delete your transform group "goldcrestValley -> fields" and replace it by export/import from the original map.
