Hello
I am trying to add bunker Silos to my map but I am having a problem with the chaff bleeding through the walls of the silo. I have all the collisions set just like the in game bunkers an it works fine with the placeable I made but when I add it to my farm and put the .xml in the items.xml to load at start up the bunker will not hold the chaff in. Here are some screen shots to see.

Any ideas?

Might help if you let the collisions overlap a little. Let's say ~20cm into ground and to each other.

cant see the transform group in the pics, due to edito visual from different directions i recommend checking your bunker is fully level on the ground, i have seen problems with bunkers not fully on the ground, chaff bleeds through the bottom, and then once one tries to uncover, the cover will not fully come open as you work through the silage, until all the chaff is cleaned up around the silo, lowering the silo has corrected this issue from what i have seen,

Thank you, I will try both suggestions.

Often problems like these are caused by inaccurate float numbers. The Giants engine calculates float predominantly with single precision (~ 7 digits). You can see just in GE that 1.00000 has become 0.99999 or 1.00001 in the saved i3d. Not very much - but can be sufficient for such gaps. Even more if it accumulates with other float calculations.

very good to know thank you, that would be why seems have to go a little lower than what seems to be on the ground,

Well I added a separate collision to the bunker and lowered it into the ground but still have the same problems. This is a 4x map and I found my gdm and grle files were not the correct size along with the weight files being incorrect so I fixed all that and had no terrainDetail in the foliage paint window just terrainDetailHeight. So I went and copied the correct lines of code from another map and got it back but now I get an error in the editor that I do not understand.

Error: 'terrainDetail_Shape5_7' (terrainDetail_Shape5_7) doesn't have all required vertex attributes for material 'stage_mat'.

Any Ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks

Well once I ran the script to create ground collision it worked fine.
