i saw that the editor has some predefined scripts, like paint by spline and set height by splines.
how does these work? (experimental )
The height by spline could be usefull for road creation. as i'm currently building a road structure in 3ds max.
that i then will export as fbx to keep my subobj materials.and could use your script to then make a spline that levels the terrain to the road.
Maby in a future version, would it be posible to implement a fbx exporter instead of the current obj export.

Loads of viideo's on youTube and Tutorials on several sites, Terrain height has been implemented in GE since FS15.

it has bin a long time sinds i created a map, and i think i found the isseu.
My softwares are not on the C drive but when i run the script its looking on the C drive, then it will not work :-)
i will reinstall GE on to C-drive and copy the files needed.
i got it working now but still trows a error in the console
Error: Can't load resource 'C:/Program Files/GIANTS Software/GIANTS_Editor_8.1.0_64-bit/scripts/editorUtils.lua'.
it was missing the FS19 folder where all scripts are
C:/Program Files/GIANTS Software/GIANTS_Editor_8.1.0_64-bit/scripts/FS19/editorUtils.lua'.
i copy the lua one level up and all errors gone.
maby in a GE update adjust the path in the lua or config from
C:/Program Files/GIANTS Software/GIANTS_Editor_8.1.0_64-bit/scripts/
C:/Program Files/GIANTS Software/GIANTS_Editor_8.1.0_64-bit/scripts/FS19

|In fact the scripts become installed properly.
You seem to have forgotten running the GE setup "as administrator". Without admin rights certain files cannot be written.

|Correct, i did not run as admin on the installation.
