Anyone knows the correspondance between the power consumption figure in the xml of a tool and the real number of hp required from the tractor to operate such tool ?

The 'neededPtoPower' is in kW.
kW * 1.36 = hp / PS

What the name says: "maximum force", a threshold for power consumption.
For more detailed info what it effects read the LUADOC -> Specializations -> PowerConsumer -> function onUpdate()
