| when I try and open any map ( Midwest horizon) in the editor it just freezes and then closes. the map I thought use to say something like map.i3d, now its saying mapDE. if that's the problem how do I go about changing that back Update, I can open the editor by itself but if I try and import a map it freeze up and say not responding and close out. This happens with any map, but map only vehicles will open no problem. |

| The editor never opens up to check the log for errors. its freezes up and closes out. |

| So you can open vehicle files but no map? Not even default maps from game? That lets me assume your system doesn't have enough resources to open larger i3d's. Probably insufficient system or video RAM. |

| I figured it out but thanks anyways. I had deleted steam and farm sim and the editor and tried to put it on the D drive but must have messe up the file path or something so I just deleted everything for the third time did a disk clean up and defrag, reset the computer and downloaded it all again. now it all works fine. I knew it wasn't a problem about the computer being able to handle it. I have been editing maps for a while now so I at least know that much. but thanks again |
