Hi

As most of you know, the Case Module Express is slow.....really slow.
Got an idea i would like to try out. Make a mod of the original harvester to harvest cotton.
SO far i got the header to accept/cut cotton. THe harvester also clearly states that it can harvest cotton in the shop ingame.
It cuts the cotton, but no indication in the grain tank......it shows 0.

Could anyone please help me make it work?

Best regards
Bjørn

This is indicate in files xml of map, in filltypes.xml you need indicate cotton in combine filltypecategory and in fruittypes.xml you need indicate cotton in maizecutter.

Is more easy change value speedLimit value="10" in xml Case Module express, change to 30 and the machine work to 30 km/h.

Did you read the hint in FS install folder data?
Be aware, that changing files in $data would probably disable multiplayer feature. And on next patch your changes are lost.
You should do these changes solely in modmaps - also vehicle edits only on mod versions of the vehicle.

The fruitTypes file is in same location. Usually named "maps_fruitTypes.xml".
The map.xml points to these files in <fillTypes filename=... and <fruitTypes filename=...
In standard maps it is out-commented, so the default files are used.

Hi

Solved it. Made a copy of the xml file from the installation folder.

Thanx

Bjørn
