Probably you'll find out the reason if you read the editor log:
{USER}\AppData\Local\GIANTS Editor ...\editor_log.txt

pulled my log file and it states GLSL version 4.50 or better is required. Your version is 4.40

Sorry - like the error message says: the GE needs at least OpenGL 4.5 - you need a better gfx card.

Here are no clairvoyants.
Without a minimum of information nobody can say what's wrong.
In first step we need at least the editor log: {USER}\AppData\Local\GIANTS Editor ...\editor_log.txt

I just installed editor 8.2. It will load and after about a second, it shuts down. I've uninstalled and installed 8.1 and have the same issue. Tried to pull up log file and it couldn't find one. Thoughts?

Make sure, hidden files and folders are displayed in explorer window.
You can also use the explorer search to find "editor_log.txt" in your user folder "AppData".
If it really doesn't exist, there's something seriously wrong with your system.
