Im trying to make it so i can just drive to the straw trigger by the animals and drop a bale for bedding. but im just getting a Lua error that says cant find child three .... only three childs.

Here are no clairvoyants and nobody can see your i3d and xml (live).
Quite obviously you didn't setup the triggers properly.
There a few husbandry mods on ModHub with bale(Destroy)Trigger. Use these as template.
