First at all check the GE preferences for proper setup of game installation path (GE menu files/preferences/general). If still errors look into GE log for further infos -> %LOCALAPPDATA%\GIANTS Editor ...\editor_log.txt |

Remove the textures in what ever 3d modeling program your using and assign a color for each texture |

Crap! Do you really think that's a good idea? The FS is not Minecraft. If you remove a texture in 3D-modeler, you won't be able anymore to add it in GE. The "all white" mostly indicates problems with texture path or format. The log will give detailed infos about. |

If you like a monochrome model without any textures - ok. |

no you get the textures too you just have to manually install them in GE |

No - you won't get them (back again). The GE can neither assign textures properly nor the required UV's. |

why does it work for me then? |

That depends on used material. If this is already assigned to the main mesh and then used for a detail, it will perhaps work. But try it with a "primitive" you have created in GE. You will never succeed to 'wrap' a texture around. |

? If the you bring a model (with textures) in a 3d modeler remove the textures and replace them with colors export as FBX into GE then you replace the colors with the textures you removed |

Pure luck if this works in some cases. If you remove a texture in a 3D-modeler, all its properties are lost, incl. the important UV map(s). |

I've only tried it with PNG textures so maybe it doesn't work with UV maps |
