Hi, testing my map in the game, going into wheat and oats, I have fps drops to 40 fps. What could be the problem? I had no such problems before, and all textures on the map are taken from the main game files. |

First at all look into game log for errors. Depending on your system, fps drops occur when entering a grain field. Try reducing your game settings. |

The log is clean, the game settings are unchanged, the crop textures are not changed, while on another map there are no such drops in fps. The map checked by test runner shows no errors. I had similar problems when adding new crops to the map, especially rye and triticale caused large drops in fps. |

Check you haven't got a large "numBlocksPerUnit" setting in the relevant crop xml in the foliage folder. for example base game figures for barley/maize is numBlocksPerUnit="1.5", canola numBlocksPerUnit="1.2", oat numBlocksPerUnit="1.5" larger numbers will cause fps loss |

Also check the related foliage.xml for reasonable values in <foliageLodDefaults lod=.. viewDistance=.. |

I changed a bit in files, textures and distance changed. It helped, thanks. |
