looking for a bit of guidance with adding a new filltype to a placeable factory so it can be used on any map.........i have the factory exported in its own directory built newfilltypes.xml added to moddesc.xml for the new filltype to be defined ..im getting a long list of errors regarding the game not being able to find xml's for store items, trees, and base game filltypes here are just a few of the errors I'm getting so you can see.....
Error: Failed to open xml file 'data/placeables/lizard/electricityGenerators/level01/electricityGenerator01.xml'.

Error: Failed to open xml file 'data/maps/maps_sprayTypes.xml'.
these are just some of the errors i picked through at random to give you guys some kind of idea the things it cant find theres tons more....thing is i don't see what is causing these errors as i haven't touched any in game xml files or folders all editing i have done has been outside of FS22 folder ...im guessing that iv messed up some pathing somewhere but i cant see anything obvious as to what is wrong any help or guidance would be much appreciated guys

|Outside of the FS22 folder meaning it's not in the mod directory or anything like that? Or just outside of the base game? If your new placeable is in the mods folder, it's treating it as such and now looking for these files. Do the files look familiar, are they part of your placeable?
|Thanks for your reply i resolved the issue ...was nothing to do with the mod itself ...segments of my HDD had got corrupted and unfortunatly it effected some of my fs 22 files ...had to zero format the HDD and reinstall everything it is now error free lol ...Thanks again for taking time to reply dude appreciate it
