Hi guy`s. I made a car trailer with hooklift. The hook lift is 3 parts. one part that is stuck to the chassi and one part that is rotate around the lock pin..

I have made all the parts in the giants editor by using cubes and cylinders. So far it works but there is one problem that I can`t figure out. The arm that is rotate around the pin is not rotate around the pin. The orbit is on the middle of the arm instead of the end where the pin is. So the arm is not lifting right. I can`t seem to move the orbit to the end of the arm. is this even possible to do in Giants editor or do i have to make this in blender ? I need to set the orbit at the end of the arm and the lock pin so it rotate right.

if not in Giants editor, can I exsport it to blender and fix this issue there ?

please someone help. I`m stuck and i want to make this finnish.. This is the only problem i have with it.

export the arm as it's own i3d open it up in giants zero it out on the xyv then move the arm so that the point you whant to be the rotate point is at 0x 0y 0z, then freeze the transformation and only set translate and the point will be set to that point at 0x 0y 0z it might take alittle time to get just right it might help to hav a small cube at 0,0,0 you can do the rotate the xyz the same if you need to change it's rotation freeze and select only rotate and it will change the xyz rotation ,you need to make shure that it is just the arm if you have somthing under the arm transform groupe you need to remove make changes to arm then add them back if thier is some thing in the arm group freeze and transformation will mess ever thing up in that groupe ,so best just to do one object at a time.

HI William, sorry for late reply. I got it to work yesterday after 3 hours with sweat and tears :) I tryed what you was saying but I ended up with blender. I exported the arm and imported into the blender, moved the orbit to where i wanted it and exported it out again. worked like sharm. That was of course the short version of it :) Everything working nice with the trailer now. I use trailer to tow cars on it. I have made a car production that you can sell. well....Thank you for reply to me William and thank you for the help.
