| Good morning everyone. I am looking to convert some scripts over from fs17 to fs19. I have very little knowledge as to how. Would anyone know what the difference between them would be and what i need to change in order for the new giants engine to recognize the new script? I would greatly appreciate all the help. Thank you |

| Basically a full rewrite of the scripts will be required. The function names are all different, the way you register specializations and scripts is completely different, and a lot of the general protocols/functions have been changed making old scripts incompatible. There are unofficial mods available that can give you examples, but I'm not going to list any in particular as I'm not 100% sure their methods are correct even know they work without issues. | The thing I did to try and wrap my head around the new system, was to go on Github and search for fs19 projects. And then see how they did their mods. As ViperGts mentioned, this won't necessarily give you "the correct way" but no one knows the correct way yet. Since giants are a bit slow on updating the documentation and giving example mods. |
