There is a lot of us in the community wondering what this fix/update actually does, any info?

"Supplemented multiviewport script interface (2.2)"

Thanks in advance.

Hi David,

It now possible to disable multiviewports which is quite essential in a mod to use that feature for overlay cameras.

Cheers,
Chris

Thanks Chris,

Noone I know in the LS-UK and other LS11 communities has ever been able to have overlay cameras in a mod, can you point me in the right direction to find out more about this feature. Is it a similar effect to PIP (Picture in Picture)?

Sorry to be a trouble.

David

Multi-viewport means that a script can display the scene from multiple cameras at different portions of the screen (or even multiple scenes).
You should check the setRootNode, setCamera and setViewport functions.
Setting the root node or the camera to 0 now disables the selected viewport again, which previously was not possible.
