I create this post in Giant's FS22 mod forums but received zero replies, so I thought maybe someone here might explain what went wrong. I used GE to create a mod-map for Elmcreek, and I had no issues. Yesterday I used the latest version of GE with the same "new mod from game" option to create mod of Erlengrat. But when you open the PDA its messed up, is there a simple fix for this? Screenshot included... https://forum.giants-software.com/viewtopic.php?f=895&t=190150 |

Check imageNamefilePath in map.xml it should be imageFilename="maps/mapAlpine/overview.png" if created straight from mod from game |

This is how it reads, it looks to be correct: <map width="2048" height="2048" imageFilename="maps/mapAlpine/overview.png" mapFieldColor="0.1500 0.1195 0.0953" mapGrassFieldColor="0.1470 0.1441 0.0823"> |

The GE "new mod from game" creates merely a dummy PNG for own edits. If you want the original overview image, copy it from game install. into your modmap folder. |
