GE Crash, Map Now Closes GE

Hi all, first and foremost, im not that experienced with GE but have used similar programs to mod other games in the past. The last 10 days or so ive been creating a map from scratch using tutorial videos etc and not had any issues. Ive spent around 100+ hours working on the map and have periodically tested in game and all was fine.

This evening i was painting some road edges to tidy up certain areas and the game hung and i got the windows blue circle. I left the editor for around 5 minutes thinking maybe it had autosaved and was taking some time to do so. Unfortunately i then got the windows prompt to say program unresponsive. I clicked close application however it didnt do anything and thus i had to Alt-F4. Not a problem as i had a save around 10 minutes earlier.

However, whenever i now try and open the map, GE starts, begins loading the map then GE closes. This happens whether i load GE from the map or load the map within GE. I can load any other maps without issue. I have also tried loading the map in game and it gets through to the load screen but then hangs at 22% for a few seconds and also closes the game. I must reiterate, there are no crashes or lockups, both programs just close of their own volition as if done so by Alt+F4.

I note the error reference the grassCliff however i havent used any grassCliff texture at all on my map - not sure if this is pertinent or not.

Ive also tried loading an older version of the i3d and it gives the exact same result - both programs closing after a few seconds of loading.

Ive searched google for the last 3 hours and posted in discord but not had any luck as of yet.

Apologies if there is something abundantly obvious im missing here, as mentioned, im new to map modding with FS.
