The issues I was having with the editor double selecting objects in the 'Scenegraph' seem to have ironed itself out. The problem stopped after I upgraded my PC from Windows Vista 32bit to Windows 7 64bit. Honestly, I do not know what the true issue could have been. I recant my last post. I humbly apologize. Keep up the great work GIANTS!

so the vista is the problem...mmmmm sucks. i can not skulpture landscape and paint....every other function work just fine......????
