high every couple of times i save my work giants editor crashes losing all the work i have done!! is this a problem for others or just me ??

It was for me the same. I installed 32 bit and never had the problem again.
Change to 32 bit. You didn't loose your work don' t worry. You can open it with 32 bit again.
