At first sorry for my bad english.

I have some questions about the editor.

1. The shadows ofthe terrain are far to dark. In reality there are no deep black shadows. Is it possible to add some ambient brightnes to the whole map? I have added a second light in the editor and switched it to be an ambient light, but i cannot see any differences. I know this question is already asked, but it does not work for me.

2. Is it possible to enlarge the drawing range of the cultivator textures?

Thanks for your help
Michael

1. You can change the ambient light in the scene by using the scripting panel:
Write:
setAmbientColor(0.7, 0.7, 0.7)

and press shift+enter

2. You can change the drawing range in the i3d file using a text editor:
Seach for: <DetailLayer name="terrainDetail"

And change the attribute viewDistance. This is the distance you can see the textures in meters.

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for your quick help. It worked really good for me.

But how can I save these new AmbientColor settings to my LS2009 map i am working on?
After I save the map and reopen it in the editor the ambient settings has returned to normal state.

Currently there is no way to store this value.
