Giants Editor 6.0.5 64 bit - Save/Export issue

Hello.

I have this problem, in Giants Editor 6.0.5 64 bit where i'm not able to save or export.
When I go to File-> and wants to use 'Save' or 'Export All with files' option, its just grayed out and i'm not able to press either of the buttons.

I have loaded a map with no errors, by opening Giants Edittor and then using 'Import' on the maps i3d file.
Then delete 1 object only and only have the ability to 'Save as' button and overwrite the existing file..
If I use the 'Save as' it saves fine, but the i3d file becomes corrupted, and can not be loaded into Farming Simulator. When I try to do so, I get the 'Giants Engine Runtime 6.0.2 has stopped working'

I aware that the right steps of use for editing mods would be : Importing the map, edit and then export.
I have of cause tried with different maps and mods, all with the same result.

Hi,

there is an error message in you rlog which is interesting:

Error: Parse error in 'C:/Users/Mathias/Documents/my games/FarmingSimulator2015/mods//EAMap/map/EA.i3d' at line 4543473. not well-formed (invalid token).

It seems that something went wrong when the map was saved.
You could try to fix that error manually.

Maybe also post that afore mentioned line, so that we can check if it is a problem specific to your mod map or if it is a general problem.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
If I look in the original file, there is only 405742 lines in total.
Then I open Giants Editor -> Import the i3d file -> Delete 1 object (non function building) -> 'Save the i3d file as'
Then I suddenly have 4642775 lines in total.

The line you mention '4543473' is this : <Animation <AnimationSets>
If I insted delete a random tree I get the same error just a different line.

As mentioned before I can't use the two buttons 'Save' and 'Export All with files' under File.
The two buttons are only pressable after I have 'Saved as' ?

Seruvs and Hi @all,

there is a missing `>` after Animation. Thats why you get an error. You have to correct it by hand using an editor. I had this error a few days ago trying to convert an old mod.
I hope you understand my poor englisch and have a great day.

Thanks a lot for you help, this fix worked !!
But sadly I have to do this after every time I save.
I have tried with multiple mods, but it's still the same.

Anyway, this is a quick fix to get it to work now.
