I believe I have read somewhere in this forum that GE will not work on "any" laptop and also that it "might work" on a laptop, depending on the graphics card.... I know it will not run on my current laptop using the onboard Intel 4000 HD graphics card, but does anyone know if it works on a laptop using a GE FORCE 950m ? |

Hi, it is very likely to work on a laptop with a dedicated graphics card. The GeForce 950m is such a card. Please note: some laptops have two graphics cards. In that case you would have to make sure that the laptop uses the dedicated gpu when opening the GE. But that's no problem ;) Cheers, Emil |

Hi, you can force that in the driver settings (nvidia tool). Sorry, I can't give you a step by step how to becaus ei have no laptop ;) But I'm pretty sure that it i srather simple, except that you have to find that setting ... maybe you can try to ask g^^gle ;) But to answer your question :) Just have alook at the log.txt of the editor, it lists the rendering system too. The log is also shown in the "console"/scripting window, so you don't need to search the log.txt on your hard drive. Cheers, Emil |
