Hello,
I have downloaded the latest Giants Editor and a blank empty map from the Farming Simulator 15 modhub located here http://farming-simulator.com/mod.php?lang=en&country=us&mod_id=43458&title=fs2015

When I try to open the map01.i3d I get the following message "Giants Editor 7.0.0 has stopped working"

When I try to open the mod with the modDesc.xml file I get the following message "Error: Could not find I3D 'C:/Users/JEFF/Desktop/Blank Map/Empty_Map/SampleModMap.lua'" even though the SampleModMap.lua file is there.

When I try to open the mod zip file I get the following error twice "Error: Could not find I3D 'C:/Users/JEFF/Desktop/Blank Map/Empty_Map/SampleModMap.lua' "

I would like to start converting over empty map file so I can start creating one.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Bigdaddy012678

Under the Downloads tab at the top of the page. Then under the Editor sub header and it is the last one. Hope this helps.

I have been playing around opening an existing Fs15 map and found that if I delete the terrain Giants Editor 6.0.5 and then save and exit. I then open that same file in Giants Editor 7.0.0 and it opens, but with some errors. So I am guessing the terrain is a little bit different from FS15 to FS17.

Bigdaddy012678 you will have to wait until Giants release there FS17 Mod Map SDK, as this will have all the new foliage layers, Terrain and shaders that the new game will use.

Judging with what I have seen so far most maps from FS15 should go over without much of a problem but I will suggest that any mod maps that you are thinking of converting from FS15 to FS17 I would start to delete anything that uses scripts like door triggers and also things like map buy-able objects, as it will take a while for there scripts to be converted over to FS17, so best to remove them now as can always add them back in at later date.

I would also look to remove any extra foliage layers and or extra multi-crops that you might added to your FS15 map as I doubt they will be usable in FS17 due to new crops for example that Giants has added for FS17.
