I tried to export from the editor to a obj file. And then imported the file into Blender or Maya. And exported back to a i3D file.
When importing the new i3D file into GE the object is much larger than originally and it has become pink.
Somewhere I must do something wrong.. How do people do this cycle of exporting/importing?

The OBJ export feature in GIANTS Editor was build to export parts of the map (terrain and meshes) into Max or Maya to build streets and gounds there with the terrain and other meshes as reference.

I am sorry for my late follow up. There has been a long vacation :)

It is not possible to use the scale because: "Scale not allowed for kinematic or dynamic objects."

Of course I forgot to mention that the object I am trying to change is a moving one..

How do I change the scale of a kinematic object?

I hope someone still wants to help.

You can not scale kinematic or dynamic objects in the editor or in the game.

You should use maya or another 3d editing software, to scale the object and then freeze it.
In maya you can use Modify->Freeze Transformations and select "scale" in the options dialog.

Hi Pelle,

Most people do not need to export and reimport because they do their own models in Maya, Max or Blender.

Again:
The OBJ export feature in GIANTS Editor was build to export parts of the map (terrain and meshes) into Max or Maya to build streets and gounds there with the terrain and other meshes as reference. And not for export and reimport,

Cheers
